TILT: The Other Stuff In My Head :)

I'm kind of in a random mood this week so I figured it'd be good to do a random Things I Love Thursday. Plus, I couldn't decide on a theme otherwise. What things, bookish or not, are you loving this week? New TV shows? I enjoyed Rebel Wilson's new show last night, but not sure why she's trying to suppress her accent. Agents of SHIELD was pretty good again but it hasn't sucked me in yet. Music, fashion, toys? I want to know!

(if you do not want your picture linked, please contact me!)

Cool Cat Sweater at Forever21 --I really want this sweater. It's been hard in the past to find kitschy/kawaii stuff in plus size, but this season seems to have some fun things. I bought a Pop Art dress at Torrid and I absolutely love it. (Sold out but they have leggings in same print!) And I got the owl sweater from Old Navy, just waiting for it to get cooler so I can wear it lol.

This trick I saw on Pinterest from Lifehacker has changed my life in a small but effective way! I always have the worst trouble putting bracelets on myself. What small tricks have you discovered recently that have surprised & delighted you?

Blythe in Library by LuluS on Flickr --this is such a lovely picture and combines two of my favorite hobbies: Blythe dolls and books. :)

Gummy Bear Thumbprint Cookies by The Baking Robot --awesome blog name, awesome cookies! I really want to make these soon. Our favorite Fro-Yo place, Happy Sweet Frog, has the best gummy bears. They're huge and have really amazing flavor. We found them recently at Sprouts grocery store and they are just begging to be made into these cookies.

And from super department of random, I found this hilarious video by AdultSwim about girls' toys from the 80s that have gone bad. Kinda NSFW, but so funny! The part with Strawberry Shortcake made me snort, I was laughing so hard.

  1. Oooh that is a cute Blythe picture! If only my girls had such a little library *swoon*
There's a few things i have been keeping myself busy with these last weeks, in the little free time i have.
The Netherlands have Netflix since 2 weeks now woohoo, FINALLY! So i've been watching 2 seasons of Misfits. I just randomly tried a series on there and it sucked me in. I am watching Robin Hood now, but it isn't really sucking me in yet. Although i do enjoy watching Richard Armitage as Guy of Gisborne, but it's kind of wrong that Guy is hotter than Robin ;-)
I'm also really enjoying the second book of the Mortal Instruments series, City of Ashes.
Another that keeps me busy is Animal Crossing New Leaf. I am little over a week behind and suddenly felt the urge of playing again, so i'm trying to catch up :)
Hmm what else... Oh yeah, one of the large toyshops her had a Lego sale, so i bought 4 large boxes of Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit Lego XD
Playing D&D with friends is another thing i have my mind on, even though we only play 1 day a week.
Lastly, i have my mind on chores and money, unfortunately. Doing chores at home, doing laundry, taking the car for his yearly checkup and repairs which is going to cost me 400 euro's ( boo! ) and work work work...
Oh wait, did you say what fun things keep you mind busy? Scratch the last one then ;-P

    1. An excellent list! :)
Oh yes, I have those nasty money things on my mind too. ;) Let's not discuss them though!
I've been wanting to play Super Mario Bros (original) on my Wii lately but I can't get past World 2 and it's driving me crazy lol. I need to just look up the cheats and get over it.

    2. Haha ifeel your pain, i suck at Mario. And i don't even like platform games, so maybe that's why, because i don't even try. I'm very excited for 2 new games that are being released soon though. Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD for the WiiU and Lego Marvel Heroes which i will get for the xbox360.
I am skipping the new upcoming Mario game for the 3DS, That guy should start doing some plumbing instead of jumping and fooling around all the time :P
